This site is a public journal of the activities and discoveries relating to the alternative site of the Battle of Hastings as put forward in the book The Secrets Of The Norman Invasion by Nick Austin.
The true Battle of Hastings site is subject to threat of destruction by a planned bypass, and a team of local enthusiasts are working to further corroborate the site through ongoing archaeological research.
This blog is to keep people up to date with what is happening at the investigations that are taking place in Crowhurst and at Upper Wilting Farm, where the Normans landed and fought the most famous battle in history. This unique heritage site is World Heritage Site potential, now under threat again from the development of the A259 link road. Please use these pages to watch our videos made as it happens. Share the information through your Facebook and Twitter pages, which can be shared here. Anyone interested in serious discussion or involvement in the archeology is welcome to become members of our Facebook group – the link in the side column. This is history as it happens. The history books have confirmed we are right. Things are coming to a head after 26 years. We know we are right as things are coming out of the ground – now you can find out why too. Join the movement to save the worlds most valuable and important battlefield.
